Welcome to SPECTRAL: Ghost Radar Detector ("we," "our," or "the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect & Permissions

To function as a ghost hunting simulation tool, the App requires specific device permissions. We prioritize your privacy and ensure that personal data is processed locally on your device wherever possible.

Camera: The App uses your device's camera to generate visual filters (Night Vision, Thermal, UV, Ecto, Shadow, Specter). Video frames are processed in real-time on your device. Images are only saved when you explicitly tap the "Capture" button. We do not stream, upload, or view your camera feed on our servers.

Microphone: The App uses the microphone for the "Spirit Box" feature to analyze ambient noise levels and generate audio simulation effects. Audio is analyzed locally and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server.

Sensors (Magnetometer & Accelerometer): Used to simulate an EMF (Electromagnetic Field) Radar. Raw sensor data drives on-screen animations only and is not transmitted externally.

Local Storage: The App stores photos you capture and your session journal locally on your device. We do not have access to these files.

3. Third-Party Services

Google AdMob (Advertising)

Free users see ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect: Advertising ID, usage data, and approximate location for relevant ads. On iOS, we request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission before serving personalized ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.

RevenueCat (Subscription Management)

We use RevenueCat to process in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat collects transaction data necessary to validate and manage your subscription. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Apple / Google

Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). Their respective privacy policies govern payment data.

4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

The App offers optional in-app purchases including:

• Spectral Pro Monthly – auto-renewing monthly subscription

• Spectral Pro Annual – auto-renewing annual subscription

• One-time purchases for individual Spirit Box channels and vision filters

Subscription payments are charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time through your device's App Store or Google Play account settings.

5. Data Retention

User-generated content (photos, journal entries) is stored locally on your device. We do not collect or retain this data on our servers. Uninstalling the App may delete this data depending on your device settings.

Anonymous crash reports may be collected by Apple or Google platform services to help us improve stability.

6. Children's Privacy

This App is intended for entertainment purposes. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. The App displays ads via Google AdMob. We adhere to applicable platform family policy requirements.

7. Disclaimer

This App is for entertainment purposes only. All "detection" features are simulations based on sensor interpretation and randomization. The App does not claim scientific accuracy regarding the existence or detection of paranormal entities.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. We advise reviewing this page periodically.
