Peerware ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Text Blast mobile application (the "App") on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our App.


Summary

Text Blast is a privacy-focused app. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our own servers. All your content stays on your device.

You can clear this data at any time by clearing the app's data in your device settings or uninstalling the app.


Third-Party Services

Google AdMob (Advertising)

Our free version displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain information to serve personalized ads, governed by Google's privacy policy.


AdMob may collect:


  • Device identifiers (Advertising ID on Android / IDFA on iOS)

  • IP address

  • General location (country/region level)

  • App usage data for ad relevance


iOS users: On iOS 14.5 and later, you will be shown an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before any advertising identifier is accessed. If you deny permission, only non-personalized ads will be shown.


Your choices:


  • On iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking to manage app tracking permissions

  • On Android: Settings → Google → Ads to opt out of personalized advertising

  • Upgrade to Text Blast Pro to remove all advertisements entirely

RevenueCat (Subscription Management)

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions on both iOS and Android. RevenueCat processes purchase transactions and subscription status on our behalf.


RevenueCat may collect:


  • A pseudonymous user identifier (device-generated, not linked to your name or email)

  • Purchase and subscription history

  • App version and platform information


RevenueCat does not collect your payment details — payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google. For more information, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Apple App Store / StoreKit (iOS Purchases)

If you purchase Text Blast Pro on iOS, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We do not have access to your payment information (credit card details, billing address, Apple ID). Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for payment-related privacy information.

Google Play Billing (Android Purchases)

If you purchase Text Blast Pro on Android, the transaction is processed by Google Play. We do not have access to your payment information. Please refer to Google Play's Terms of Service for payment-related privacy information.


App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

In compliance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, Text Blast will request your permission before accessing your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). This identifier is used solely to serve relevant advertisements through Google AdMob.


  • If you allow tracking: personalized ads may be shown based on your interests

  • If you deny tracking: only non-personalized ads will be shown; no IDFA is accessed


You can change your decision at any time in: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Text Blast


Local Notifications

The App may send local notifications (e.g. a daily reminder). These notifications:


  • Are generated and scheduled entirely on your device

  • Do not require any server communication

  • Can be disabled at any time in your device's notification settings


Children's Privacy

Text Blast is rated 4+ on the App Store and Everyone on Google Play. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Since the app does not require account creation and stores all data locally on device, it is compliant with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) requirements.


Data Security

Since we do not collect or transmit personal data to our servers, there is no risk of a data breach from our side. All user-generated content remains on your device and is protected by your device's built-in security measures.


Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.


Your Rights

You have the right to:


  • Access your data — all data is visible within the app

  • Delete your data — clear app data in device settings or uninstall the app

  • Opt out of personalized advertising — via device settings or by upgrading to Pro

  • Withdraw ATT consent (iOS) — via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking

  • Contact us with any privacy concerns
